Mitch’s construction roots trace back to childhood, when playing in the yard meant grabbing a shovel, pulling on his Timberland boots, and wearing a Little Tikes hard hat. By high school, he was spending summers working for a local developer on job sites across Philadelphia, helping with site cleanup, material deliveries, and keeping an extra set of eyes on construction progress.

After graduating from Penn State, Mitch began a corporate career, but his interest in real estate never faded. In 2019, inspired by the BiggerPockets books and podcast, he purchased his first property in Brewerytown as a house hack. That experience sparked a passion for investing and laid the foundation for what came next.

At the height of the pandemic, Mitch took a leap of faith, leaving his corporate job to become a licensed Realtor. He saw it as an opportunity to immerse himself in the industry, learn the market firsthand, and build relationships across every facet of the business.

In 2024, he founded Pyrenees Development and completed the company’s first project, the redevelopment of a single-family home in Brewerytown. Today, he brings his market knowledge, investment experience, and longstanding interest in construction to identifying properties with potential throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.

Mitch lives in Olde Kensington with his wife, Annika, daughter, Marlowe, and dog, Bubba. He remains an active Realtor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, keeping him closely connected to the neighborhoods and opportunities that shape Pyrenees Development’s work.
